It's possible that they've hidden themselves away in one of these new regions that have cropped up recently. The timing of their appearance just seems a little too coincidental, don't you think? It hasn't been that long since the Retrospec building disappeared, and it would be easy enough to hop between the new locations if they so desired.
It's just a matter of, yes, getting enough people to explore them and then storm the building. The latter would be difficult for me until my powers come back, but the former is definitely something I can do as long as it's not in Respatrum again.
Yeah, kind of. At their mildest, they seem to be psychic... telekinesis, telepathy, that sort of thing... and at their strongest, dark magic. Sealing souls into objects, controlling time, and who knows what else...
That could be useful in the fight against Retrospec... but... even after several months of waiting for them to wake up, they still seem to be dormant. I had hoped that something would happen in February, but instead I ended up not being able to do much of anything at all, and I'd like for that to not be the case if I'm going to take part in this revolt. I don't want to be the weak link... again.
Exploring, however, doesn't necessarily require any powers... just some common sense and survival skills. Right?
[ Yeah, he still feels pretty embarrassed having a mental breakdown in front of a bunch of strangers and he had been hoping it had been forgotten. Whoops! But he wants to try again. ]
Damn, that would be great against them! But yea, I don't think exploring requires any special powers. I mean, I don't have any, and I think that should be pretty easy to survive.
[Yet. He doesn't have any powers yet. He doesn't know he has them. Being a blood-thirsty killing bastard is about all he's found. After being in this app a year.
If he had powers, something would have happened, right? That's what he thinks at least.]
Should we do the split-up thing and cover more ground? Or should we look together?
If you find the building before I do, then let me know. I'll keep you posted on when my powers wake up. That way, we can put together a strategy for the big battle.
Though I have to say, that's pretty bold of you to want to pick a fight with Retrospec without any known powers, or without being an ideas guy. Were you just planning to lead the pack, then? Like some kind of military general?
Together, by the way. There's safety in numbers, after all, and we don't know what we'll find, even if Retrospec seems to be encouraging us to explore these new territories for now.
kjsdeia No! I have no intention of leading anybody! I need ideas people to tell me what to do, more often than not. I can street fight and I have guns, that's about it. But I can protect, cover, and attack pretty well. So... that's all I planned to do. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who wants Retrospec six feet under. Someone's bound to give actual orders.
Alright, then. I'll let you know when I'm going to head to an area. Any particular one you think we should try first?
If I were Retrospec, I would hide somewhere like Bosuma or Pesgare... somewhere with lots of ground to cover that will take some time to explore. Possibly Magatus as well.
And what? That's it? It's pretty hard to organize a rebellion without some kind of leadership, you know. Or have you not seen any dystopian films lately?

But yea, I think you're right. Those places sound better than starting here.
